“One to one” refers to the vulvographic process in which only two people take part: me, as Vulvographer, and an other person. The location of the action is my garden during daytime.

 

The garden, in this case, offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, whilst giving a feeling of being close to nature and distracting from the busyness of the city. Because of the level of self-exposure, an inviting, comfortable, and accessible space is created, so the subject feels “at home”, in contrast to the cold and potentially impersonal or alien space of a photographic studio.
